Task v/s Workload

Image
TASK V/S WORKLOAD TASK Task  refers to a definite and specific instance or act of work. Task usually refers to a clearly defined piece of work, sometimes of short or limited duration, assigned to or expected a person.   Wills defines a task as a goal oriented activity in which learners use language to achieve a real outcome. The main focus in task based learning is meaning. A task based approach sees the learning process as learning through doing. It is primarily engaging in meaning that the learner's system is encouraged to develop. Task can thus be summarized as specific work that an individual sees as  duty and not as the work that is potentially stressful to the doer. WORKLOAD The term workload can refer to a number of different yet related entities. However, it is clear that cognitive workload results from mental processes when performing tasks, depending on the users's capabilities and the task demands. Heavy worklo...

The leader that I admire the most.

Image
Of all the leaders of the world, I admire Vladimir Putin, the PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA the most. The reason why the youth should idealize people like Putin is because he is not only the President of one of largest countries of the world but is also the most influential man of the world leaving behind Barack Obama to second place as per Forbes List, 2017. He has 110million supporters which accounts to almost 80% of the Russian population which is a huge number in itself.  Russia has seen everything which is the  fall of the monarchy, the collapse of democracy, the great depression, World War II with its tens of millions of Russians dead and have witnessed a past president like Boris Yeltsin who was not only corrupt but also more of an ignorant and comical people's leader who bought shame to Russia on various major events during his tenure.   A very important quality of a leader is that he should think about the well being of its followers and act for the be...

Psychological hacks for a healthier mind

Image
Here are some psychological hacks for a healthier mind: :) People who sleep for longer hours on weekends are likely to suffer from hypertension and fatigue. So wake up at the same time everyday.  2. Pause for two beats before responding to people who get on your nerves 3. Constantly checking social media, emails and texts leads to lack of concentration and productivity. 4. Over analysing and delaying decisions doesn't help. Think faster, trust yourself and decide. 5. Remember that social media is an edited reality so be sceptical of what you see.

It is one of the most famous breakfasts of North India. It can be easily made at home and can be found in any market in Delhi in 2$ and less. CHAAT Chaat is what makes delhi famous for its street food. Chaat in english means " to lick". It is named so because these foods are so tangy and spicy and full of flavours and hence finger lickin' good :P :) KEBABS Whoever thought grilled chunks of meat or fish marinated in aromatic Indian spices couldn’t give you joy should think again :) DESSERTS Indians love to end their meals with sweet dishes. Majority of these are made of milk, nuts and sugar.

Cendol

Image
Cendol is a sweet drink found in areas of South-east Asia. It is made of jelly, coconut milk and brown sugar syrup. It is delicious and a perfect soothing drink in the hot summer heat. Let's see how can we prepare it at home :) Soak pandan leaves in water and then blend them. Add flour to make good jelly noodle. combine gula melaka , sugar and water together and heat at low flame until good consistency is attained and then set to cool. Ready the coconut milk and mix all ingredients together alongwith topping such as red beans and corns. It tastes better when serves chilled hence you can add blended ice.  CENDOL IS READY! :)

A WELL SPENT SUNDAY

Image
Last sunday me and my friends went to Port Dickson alongwith our senior from the academy. It was a beautiful day since I tried hiking for the first time. We started our journey from ALAM at 3 in the afternoon and came back at 9pm. It was a fun filled day with good food and lots of laughter and memories that will be cherished forever. :)  The place was Bukit Batu Putih, PD. We climbed our way up to the peak from where we could see the  beautiful South China Sea. After that we reached another beautiful location after climbing down almost 200 stairs. That was a picturesque place with white sand. We clicked a lot of pictures there. Later we took our dinner at Paparich  I Wish every sunday could be as good as this one!!:)
