TASK VS WORKLOAD
1.TASK
a task is an activity that needs to be accomplished within a defined period of time or by a deadline to work towards work-related goals. A task can be broken down into assignments which should also have a defined start and end date or a deadline for completion. One or more assignments on a task puts the task under execution. Completion of all assignments on a specific task normally renders the task completed. Tasks can be linked together to create dependencies.
Tasks completion generally requires the coordination of others. Coordinated human interaction takes on the role of combining the integration of time, energy, effort, ability, and resources of multiple individuals to meet a common goal. Coordination can also be thought of as the critical mechanism that links or ties together the efforts on the singular level to that of the larger task being completed by multiple members. Coordination allows for the successful completion of the otherwise larger tasks that one might encounter
HOW YOU CAN MANAGE YOUR TASK
HOW YOU CAN MANAGE YOUR TASK
- Make a record of how you spend your time.
- Do not procrastinate.
- Managing meetings by attending only the ones that are absolutely necessary
- Be organized.
- Prioritize the tasks.
- Delegate tasks.
- Say no- sometimes its good to say 'NO'.

The String-Around-The-Finger Method
Even though a notification on your iPhone can be a great reminder to complete a task, nothing jogs your memory like a change in something you use everyday. A classic example of this is tying a string around your finger. Or if you prefer a modern take on the method, wrap a rubber-band around your phone.
The basic idea is, put something in your way when you're thinking of something you need to do. Then, the next time you notice that thing—string, rubber band or whatever—your mind will be jogged to remember the task.
Getting a bit more technical with this idea, rearranging app icons or changing your iPhone's wallpaper are other good ways to jog your memory. If you're using this method on the desktop, you can set special photos or text as your screen saver, or my personal favorite: putting a Post-It note in the center of my laptop's screen. Either way, doing something that's out of the ordinary can be a great way to make sure you remember what you need to do.
THE STRING-AROUND-THE-FINGER METHOD AND CONS
- Pros: The simplest possible way to remind yourself to do something.
- Cons: You might end up forgetting why you tied the string in the first place.
2.Workload
Workload is the amount of work an individual has to do. There is a distinction between the actual amount of work and the individual's perception of the workload. Workload can also be classified as quantitative (the amount of work to be done) or qualitative (the difficulty of the work).
The assessment of operator workload has a vital impact on the design of new human-machine systems. By evaluating operator workload during the design of a new system, or iteration of an existing system, problems such as workload bottlenecks and overload can be identified. As the human operator is a central part of a human-machine system, the correction of these problems is necessary for the operation of safe and efficient systems.
An operating budget may include estimates of the expected workload for a specific activity. Work loads can vary in many different situations, but the average workload is average
