Dragon Ball Super

The latest ongoing installment to the Dragon ball series which started airing in japan in 2015 is one most popular series right now with 125 episodes and counting.


The series takes place after Buu saga in Dragon Ball Z ,whose last episode aired on January 1996.
In this series they have introduced various gods of destruction  and their angels who guide and train them. The first arc deals with the introduction of the gods and Super Saiyan God. Goku (SSJG), the main protagonist, attains the form of SSJG with help of his friends and goes toe to toe with the god of destruction of their universe Lord Beerus.

Many things happen during and after this arc but i want to talk about the current arc that is the Tournament Of Power. In this tournament various universes are fighting for survival. If all the warriors from a universe are eliminated then the universe will be erased forever and the winning universe will be presented with the super dragon balls who can grant any wish.

Almost all the universes have been erased with Universe 7, i.e Goku's universe,with 4 warriors and Universe 11 remaining with 2 warriors. Goku and his teammates are having a hard time with the two warriors of universe 11 ,namely Jiren and Toppo, the latter's power is said to be that of level of god of destruction and the former even exceeding that level.
