Proton is known as PERUSAHAAN OTOMOBIL NASIONAL which was established in May 1983. In history, first model of Proton is known as SAGA. It is proudly to be introduced as the first national car in Malaysia during July 1985. Today, Proton has made several of brand new of its product. Even though they had modified the design without changing its name, it does not mean that we should forget the old ones.

It is very important for future generation to know the history of our national brand car. Let me introduce to you guys the older designs of Proton according to its model.


Please be aware that a name of car might have a similar design but different type. As example, Wira have sedan and hatchback. The list was made according to the year of manufacturing in ascending order.
