Bukit Batu Putih

Where your RM 1 can go? Well, ours, we were able to reach the peak of Bukit Batu Putih. Tanjung Tuan or Cape Rachado (named by Portuguese, meaning Broken Cape) is at the state of Malacca, Malaysia but near to Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The cape is popular for the Cape Rachado Lighthouse which is facing the Strait of Malacca. It was built between 1528 to 1529 for Portuguese to guide their ships. During 1641, Malacca had switched hands to Dutch and later on 1824 to the British.

As we arrived at the place, we paid RM 1 each for the entrance fee. After that, we start to walk along a tarmac, we walked for almost 1 kilometer or approximately around 10 minutes until we were able to see the lighthouse.

After which, we started to trek up tp the peak. The trek will only take around another 15 minutes to reach the peak. The trails are just easy and it is really suitable for a beginner but of course, never to forget to always take extra precautions when you are there no matter how seasoned hiker you are.

We have to stop sometimes to take a mandatory selfie or photo. I really enjoyed trekking with these girls. With all the non stop talking and the here and there laugh really completed our trip.

This spot is actually the way up to the peak, it's quite steep but very manageable.

We were actually with our Senior. Senior Nazlin was the one who brought us there. She was our Senior when we were Semester 1 in Akademi Laut Malaysia. She just signed off from ship and she's having her vacation. Senior Nazlin used to take us out even before, so no wonder when she suddenly called us and asked us to prepare for a short hike.

Finally, we made it. I have been here once and I already knew that there's a jaw-dropping view waiting for us at the peak. This place is a very nice place to catch the sunrise and sunset while on the top of these white rocks. The 360 view is just simply amazing: half of it fills your eyes with blue sea water; and half of it fills your eyes with bountiful green trees.

We stayed there for 25-30 minutes to enjoy the place and take some pictures. And then we decided to go down to have some drinks and good foods.
